Welcome to my portfolio - a collection of mosaic projects created in collaboration with communities across all walks in life.

From vibrant school murals designed with school pupils, to reflective installations in hospitals and wellbeing spaces, my work is rooted in connection, creativity, and collective expression. I have had the privilege of working with schools, NHS teams, charities, local community groups and the emergency services, using mosaic art to tell stories, bring people together , and create lasting, meaningful pieces of art installed in shared public spaces.

Every project that you will see here is a celebration of partnership - whether it was made by hundreds of little hands in a school hall, or a quiet space working with one individual in a hospital ward . I believe in the power that art has to uplift, include, and heal- and i’m proud to make that a part of what I do through my business, Honey Mosaics.

Schools and Education Projects

Mosaics made with children are some of the most joyful and energetic pieces i’ve had the pleasure to help create. I work with both primary and secondary schools to design permanent artworks for signage, playgrounds and corridors. Mosaic can be made for indoor and outdoor spaces. Each project is tailored to suit the schools values, identify and always includes hands-on involvement from the pupils. I often encourage children to create designs that can be used within a mural, If time and budget allows an additional illustrator day can be worked into a project.

Of course projects are worked to fit within a budget. The cost to create a mosaic will be based on the size of the end piece and how many children will be participating, this can all be discussed during an initial site visit where we can discuss your requirements.

Emergency Services and Public Sector Projects

It was a privilege to work with teams in the fire , police and ambulance service to create a mosaic that recognised their role in our community. Artworks working with the emergency services , can commemorate achievements, and/ or act as moral- bossing collaborative projects that can involve both staff and the public. Please learn more about the mural made above by clicking on the portfolio link below.

Hospital & Healthcare Spaces

In healthcare environments, mosaics can offer calm, reflection, and a sense of hope. I work with NHS teams to create artwork that supports wellbeing - often with patients and families with staff also being able to contribute to the process.

Projects will often have a focus on, wellbeing and mindfulness. Typical spaces that would be ideal for mosaic art would be waiting areas, therapy spaces.

Charity and Community Organisations

Many of my projects are commissioned by or in partnership with charities, youth groups and local organisations such as a parish council. The mosaics made give the opportunity to bring people together from different backgrounds and celebrate local identity and commemorate milestones.

Projects include community murals and mosaic library's, signage and mosaic garden decor. All projects host creative workshops for inclusion and outreach.

The Queen has asked me to thank you for your letter of 14th June about the mosaic project you have been running to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee. Her Majesty read your letter with the closest interest and was delighted to see the photographs you enclosed.
