This mosaic mural created in 2023 was commissioned to celebrate the school being open for 25 years. The Head Teacher, Mrs Thompson wanted to get her students involved with making something very special for the school that could be proudly displayed at the front of the school. Artist Sarah Harper wanted to ensure that all the children got involved with the project from the get go! Sarah launched a design competition that allowed every child the chance to be submit a entry of their class animal. Entries were done in school to ensure all the children got a equal chance of taking part. An additional optional design competition was also launched for children to do at home, to design and make a crown for to honour the Kings coronation. Sarah was overwhelmed with all of the designs, from over 200 entries 9 wining designs were chosen and Sarah worked from these images to create the design. Sarah worked with each and every child at the school and they all made the mosaic together. With the children being aged 3-7 they all joined in with enthusiasm and patience and together created a beautiful mosaic for the school.

A celebration of the work was held with a special unveiling event where all the children that designed the animals were awarded a certificate and a mosaic kit. The Mayor and Mayoress of Milton Keynes were there to participate with this event and congratulate the children on their achievements.
