Knowles Primary School, new to joining Artsmark contacted Sarah and invited her to spend the day working with all the teaching staff to create a mosaic mural with them that could be displayed within the reception at the school. As the school had joined Artsmark they wanted to begin by giving the staff a creative experience and be able to get a insight to the benefits that the students would have for this hands on approach to learning. Sarah worked during the teacher training day with groups of 6 staff at a time. The majority of the mosaic was made within the day and what was not completed was finished by Sarah in her home studio. Not only was this a great way to get he staff excited about joining Artmark this day was a great team building expertise and one that was throughly enjoyed by all the participants.
